Reed Sinopharm Exhibitions Co., Ltd. and Design News (magazine) cooperated to organize the technique forum of medical equipment innovative design for the 3rd ICMD. More than one hundred engineers engaged in medical equipment design and product development presented the forum.

This forum is characterized by its professionalism, advanced and high-level. Honored lecturers were Mr. Hou xuchao from internationally notable Frost & Sullivan Company for medical equipment market investigation, and Professor Wang Ping from Biomedical Engineering Department of Zhejiang University, Professor Gao Xiaorong from Biomedical Engineering Department of Tsinghua University, and chief inspector of design Mr. Chen Meng from Peking Industry Design and Promotion Centre. The reports included technological development condition and tendency of international medical equipment, the key technique of international medical equipment design and manufacture, the development of biosensor technique, brain-computer interface technique, the national achievement of independent development in the field of medical equipment, the new ideas and concepts of medical equipment product design, and so on. Practical design information was announced which included medical design standard, design software, and technical knowledge of related movement assembly, etc.
